Sydney Day 2

Lepas seharian catching up dengan family & kawan-kawan, and anak-anak pun dah recover dari flight, barulah kitorang bawak anak-anak pergi jalan.

Since we have local knowledge on how to go about kat Sydney, we decided to utilize public busses as our main transportation. Beli weekly bus ticket (which will no longer avaible starting Jan 2016, hangpa kena beli Opal card - macam Touch and Go, boleh top up kat news stand). Weekly bus ticket ni pun dah masuk spesis pupus dah ni.

Kids were excited (at first) on the prospect of riding bus everywhere. Littleeeee did they know, mak pak diorang ni memang kuat berjalan. First day tu, seingat aku la, record jalan kat tepon is about 12km. Mau tak tegang betis budak-budak ni.

2nd day in Sydney was a bit chilly. Sejuk sepoi-sepoi, best jalan kaki. Tak peluh and tak berapa penat. First day tu, bawak anak-anak pergi tengok Opera House. Tu kan spot wajib pergi bagi sesapa pun yang datang Sydney. Cumanya hari tu gloomy sket, so amek gambar kurang lawa.

Husband too tall to fit in. lol

Lepas jalan lebih kurang kat Opera House, we took the kids (on feet) to The Rocks. They got to see big cruise ship along the way. Walk along Circular Quay towards The Rocks. Kids cooperated well.

Sampai dekat The Rocks, reward the kids with lunch before Arfa terlelap. Mengimbau kenangan silam konon-konon, kitorang makan dekat Pancakes at The Rock. The simple pancake with butter and hot syrup jugak yang sedap.

Masa dekat The Rocks, bought Afiq jagung. Jagung tu memang rasa dia sama ngan zaman aku belajar dulu. Jaguung rebus, sapu butter, sprinkle dengan black pepper. Memang win lah. Lepas jalan kat The Rocks, bawak anak-anak pergi Paddy's Market. Paddy's Market ni is the place to buy souveniers Australia. Rasanya bukak 4 days a week, tak ingat plak.

After brief and compact souveniers shopping kat Paddy's Market, we then walked to Darling Harbour. Kat Darling Harbour tu ada satu playground besar untuk budak-budak main. Kena kasi upah sket lepas penat jalan.. Gitu katanya.

We are deprived of good parks in KL for kids

Suka gambar ni. Hehe

Settle jalan-jalan Darling Harbour, kitorang gerak balik for dinner. And again, reminiscing kenangan silam, dinner dekat Taste of Thai. Kedai ni dekat Randwick. Tell ya, nasi goreng dia, dari zaman belajar sampai sekarang rasa dia sama. Afiq punyalah suka nasi goreng ni sampaikan boleh kata everytime makan sini dia kana order nasi goreng.
