Allah takkan duga kita dengan sesuatu yang tak mampu kita tanggung. Aite?
Sejak Raya Haji hari tuh, satu demi satu dugaan muncul. Memula start dengan diri sendiri yang yang tak sihat hampir seminggu. Religiously makan ubat pun tak baik jugak. Lepas tu, berjangkit kat Aidin, sampai Aidin kena pneumonia and warded for 6 days. Memang kami anak beranak beraya di wad, sedang orang lain balik kampung.
Dalam masa yang sama, kena pindah rumah, sebab tenant nak masuk. So, nak tak nak, memang no shift at all menjaga Aidin di wad, sebab husband kena uruskan hal-hal packing² segala. At the very same time, he's due for super important technical assessment that requires OH to sit and study in depth.
Ingatkan lepas all the episodes, boleh la tarik nafas lega. Well, we did, for about a week, before another bad news struck. My FIL has been complaining of numbness past weeks. He finally gave in, and get himself checked by neurosurgeon. Tengok-tengok, nerve kat spine belakang dah terkepit, and his condition deterioriate abruptly. from numbness to wobbly. and finally after seeking 2nd opinion (and that was within 2 days) terus jalan tak stable. Dr advice please take care, jangan jatuh sementara tunggu nak kena operate, sebab the consequences is PARALYSE.
today, he's admitted already. Esok pagi, insya Allah my FIL akan go through the operation for three hours. Operation tu involve buang sket bone kat tulang belakang neck, and tanam titanium plate to release the pressure. Post op nanti kena continue to physio. Estimated length of stay kat hospital is about a week.
Harapnya, everything will turn out well. He's 69, and rarely fall sick (ye, demam setahun sekali pun susah, unlike aku).
