:: kids start schooling ::

afiq and adib dah mula sekolah. and they start their schooling with full of drama!

:: day 1 ::

uniform sekolah belum siap lagi, so the kids are requested to wear anything they like. being them, seluar panjang jeans means handsome. so they demanded to wear jeans & long sleeve (long sleeve!!!!) t shirt yang ada gambar woody (character toy story). me & OH are on leave - specially for them.

the night before, i have packed their snacks - simple jek, just some cereal and biscuits as school will provide meals.

we were requested to drop off the kids at 8.00am, 0.5hour earlier than their usual time to assist the kids to settle down. cooked some pancakes for them for breakkie & then dropped aidin off at mom's place before heading to school.

they were so excited. suka gila nak pegi skolah. sedangkan takde idea what is school is all about.

sampai skolah, the kids mula start to draw back from the crowd. starts to show their separation anxiety. i waited for almost an hour to let them settle down, tapi tak tersettle² rupanya. the kids cried like crazy when we left. :P

i felt that the clock is ticking so slow. lamanya nak menunggu pukul 12 that we round the school twice just to check whether they're still crying or not. hahahaha. first born kan? harusla terlebih excited!

bila pick the kids up, nampak ok. walaupun ada sikit monyok. :P there was a kid crying whole day long. afiq referred him as abang. when i picked them up and saw the kid crying, afiq being drama king said,"afiq tak nangis kan mommy?" adoi nak! yang pagi tadi afiq melalak sampai peluk daddy tak lepas² tu mende??

:: day 2 ::

OH starts work today. it leaves me and mom behind to send them to school. dah mula tunjuk perangai tak nak pergi skolah. kali nih hantar lambat sikit. almost 8.30 baru hantar.

hari nih punya scene lagi dahsyat. both afiq and adib panjat gate nak lari ikut mommy balik when i masuk kereta. gosh!

tapi, bila balik rumah, diorang dok main 'teacher-student'. boleh? nampak sangat sebenarnya tak nak pisah ngan mommy but enjoying the school kan?

the teacher mms me their photos buat activity kat skolah. macam ok saje.

:: day 3 ::

i start working today (should have). tapi disebabkan kereta overheat, terpaksa patah balik umah and EL. masa tu mak dah hantar pegi skolah. mak kata, both being koala bear tak nak lepas my mom. mak kata, bukak pintu kereta belah kanan, dia lari belah kiri. bukak pintu belah kiri, dia lari belah kanan. last2, panggil teacher amek n seperti biasa banjirlah sekolah itu buat seketika.

balik tu, i picked them up, and they're all happy.

but then, bila malam jek, mula la begging i. here goes the dialogue:-

afiq : mommy, afiq tak nak pegi sekolah.
mommy : afiq kena pegi sekolah.
afiq : alaaaaa..... kenapa kena pegi sekolah?????

(dalam nada yang cukup lembut, buat mommy nak tergelak tapi kesian. pandai hokay bodek)

:: day 4 ::

aiyo! ini hari lagi teruk. mak kata nangis dari rumah lagi. mom needs to get my brother's help to send them to school. lil bro sampai naik suara dalam kereta baru senyap sekejap.

i felt uncomfortable. i takut my children jadi unhappy kids. so i smsed the teacher asking for progress. ghopenye, nangis kejap saje. and starting to enjoy the class. teacher kata dah mula clingy with teacher. i guess it's the the thought of separation that haunts them.

dalam pukul 11 lebih tadi teacher call. i tak angkat. pastu tengok ada missed call jugak dari OH. rupanya si afiq demam kat school. mom picked him up. good for that school that makes checking body temperature at school a must. they'll inform and ask the parents to pick the kids up if temp hits 37.5.

by the way, the school yang i hantar nih nama dia unikidsity. adopting montessori concept to develop basic life skills. yet to see the kids' progress. hopefully, i've made the right choice for my kids. i want nothing but the best for them, for i heart them dearly and they're the 'amanah' yang akan dipersoalkan di akhirat nanti.
