it has been a while since i last update this blog. have been pretty busy and occupied. OH is back (only for a week! hisyh!) and he's now in the plane flying back to russia for three weeks. adoi. bosan!

anyway, lil bro's wedding reception dah pun selesai. ada hiccups here and there, and am happy for it to be over. penat oo.

little updates on my pumpkin pies - afiq and adib

afiq~
1. semakin loyar buruk.
cukup suka immitate org. kalau aku panggil OH, 'abang'.. dia pun jerit 'banggg!' kalau aku panggil 'siti' (maid), dia pun panggil 'tii!'.. yang paling best, bebaru nih.. dia angkat telefon, pastuh cakap 'cucu wan' (he called my mom - wan) amek.. lagi best.. dalam dia layan² lalok nak tido, 'cucu den..' hamek!

2. tiru orang solat dengan penuh detail sekali.
normally dia cuma ikut movement saje.. but nowadays.. siap ngan mulut terkumat kamit.. that also applies masa dia baca doa. pastu buat muka tahan² senyum.. boleh?

3. suka ajuk husband atau sesapa yang bersin..
his way.. 'aaaaaaa tummmmmm..' 'atum'.. yang first tuh mad wajib muttasil (read : panjang harkat dia) yang no. 2 tuh mad asli (read : 2 harkat saje)

4. cukup perasan hensem
kalau orang puji hensem, dia akan kontrol macho, ala² senyum tak senyum. adoi..

1. latest obsession
thomas and his friends.. OH belikan his first thomas shirt balik dr russia hari tuh. and the result : dia pakai baju tuh dari pagi sampai ke petang, pastu bila mandi nak pakai baju tido, still tak moh tukar. nak gak pakai baju yang sama walaupun dah busyuukkkk.
semalam, we brought him to ikea. masa tgh tunggu OH amek barang dalam keta, i linger around with adib. skali ada la sorang budak kecik nih jalan ngan mak dia kot, pakai baju thomas. guess adib's immediate reaction? pandang budak tuh punya baju, lepas tuh tgk baju dia, and immediately pandang mommy dia, 'meh???' (thomas?) (read : dia tak pakai baju thomas at that time)

2. senyap bila kena marah
kalau dia mengamuk and i marah dia, he'll stand still and tunduk. :D tau kot kena marah, and in a way buat aku rasa bersalah. but i know i have to start to teach him what is right and what is wrong.

3. dah pandai mengalah
adat anak kembar, kalau tak bergaduh berebut barang, tak sah. sam la ngan my boys. tapi adib lately dah pandai mengalah. kalau berebut ngan afiq barang, and dia rasa nak buat baik, he'll hand over the toys/books and sambil cakap,'baik..' :D

pretty busy over the weekend. the ceremony really drained my energy out! anyway, selamat sudah my bro kawen last saturday. first time tgk mas kawen dalam dinar emas. tapi dalam busy² sempat jugak la jengah² blog faberet yang lain. :D tapi diri seniri punya blog tarak sempat mau update.

ada la gambar sket. tak banyak. tak sempat amek sebab anak teruna 2 orang itu mengamuk kat majlis. kena plak nikah lepas isyak. my boys jenis lepas maghrib dah layu. so, buat perangai show sket la si afiq ngan adib tuh. :P time tuh jugak la sia dib decide to do his no. 2. alahai...

nanti kalau my bro dah transfer gambar dr pc, i'll tepek the boys' pics pakai baju melayu - complete with sampin and songkok (owh, how they perasan hensem.. perangai sapa la dia dapat tuh..)

just to share afiq's progress - skang dia dah pandai imitate org solat ngan baca doa. all this while mmg dah buat, but what he's doing now is even better. very fine punya imitate.. and that is ~ mulut yang terkumat kamit sambil buat muka serius tengah solat. hamek!

kay la.. dah lama tak blog, macam hilang touch pulak. nanti² kena blog lagi tamau kasik skill hilang..

:: random updates ::

i saw my boys in their mini pool yesterday evening when i arrived back from work. quickly joined the boys, together with my soon to get married brother.

they enjoyed themselves (mommy too!) that i didn't realize that afiq was playing fool with me. boleh budak kecik tuh pegi siram mommy dia yang duduk menyangkung tepi pool kecik diorang tuh sambil pakai baju kurung balik dari opis?? sabar jek le. nasib baik sempat tangkap, kalau tak sure basah kuyup.

adib on the other hand suruh my bro to take off his sandal and joined him in the pool. 'kak' (bukak). my bro obligued and joined him. once he's in the pool, adib datang dekat pegang baju ngan suar, cakap 'kak!' suruh bukak baju ngan suar. kitorang bantai gelak gila.

agaknya sebab penat sangat, afiq dozed off pretty early, while adib still active. sekali skala dia lari kat pc tekan keyboard, panggil 'daddy!' (agaknya teringat we skyped over the weekend) managed to skyped with my OH late night with adib on my lap. with one window showing him, and another window showing thomas with songs. fenin.. fenin..

oklah all. counting days for thursday to come. he'll be back for my bro's wedding. and looking forward for friday too, as we're gonna be one complete family, after yearsssssssss tak jumpa and duduk sekali. yeay!!!

:: of potty train + 'don't know where's my parcel' status ::

had a simple weekend with the boys.

brought them out for a simple outing. pergi beli their underwears (anak² terunaku sudah tidak mahu pakai pampers lagi tho belum 100% toilet train) and toilet seat. sempat kena paq ngan anak² teruna sepasang sandal thomas and friends each. (instead of the cheap RM5.00 sandal!) grr!

both of the boys dah tak nak (or in their language, tak-moh) pakai diapers lagi. sometimes, terpaksa 'paksa' pakai, especially when we go out. (i know it's against potty train rules, but what work for u might not work for me kan?) masih banyak 'accidents' here and there. time ok, they'll inform if they wanna pee or poo. at times, they do their 'business' sesuka hati. i feel that i should train one at a time, but both dah reject diapers. i feel that adib is ready enough compared to afiq. tapi takpelah, bagus jugak buat 2 org skali, skali jek headache.

anyway, adib managed to poo (hooray!) in the toilet yesterday morning. (i'm turning to a 'normal' mom here. anak ber** pun nak cerita.. hehe) tapi he was so shy that he turned his face away from mommy, despite the happy cheers! (but after succesfully doing it in the loo, dia belasah buat business on his own pants. adeh!) aiyoo.

kadang² rasa, yang tak ready nak potty train nih mak dia, bukan anak. ngehngeh. asyik lupa nak bawak pegi toilet every hourly. camana nih?

owh, lupa nak share. came accross my cousin's entry on Lelaki Melayu Terakhir, and she managed to put up a smile on my face before i went to sleep. have a dip, and u'll get what i mean. :D

i also want to share my experience dealing with online shopping. so far i tak ada masalah la buat order² online nih. but this time i macam agak geram dan frust bila janji tak buat. i'm pretty strict when it comes to time. i'm not saying that i'm not flexible. i would very much appreciate if the seller could honour me by at least inform me if he/she can't meet my dateline, rather than leaving me clueless. sangat curious samada parcel itu akan tiba hari ini atau tidak sebab no tracking number is given. and the best thing is she said whe's away from today till friday, and yes i need the thing before friday for my brother's wedding!!!! argh!!!!! he/she needs to learn some business ethics if he/she really wants to fly high! talking of which, terus teringat kena email inn (i ordered hantaran cake from her for mybro's wedding) for delivery details.

ok. cukup untuk lepas geram hari ini.

nak tulis blog pun mood nye melayang² ntah ke mana. nak diupdate gambar, cameranya berada nun jauh di astrakhan, russia. yang ada cuma sekeping gambo afiq panjat tangga in his own creative way yang dimail oleh my OH yesterday.

send my OH off this morning at KL sentral. he'll be in russia for the next 10 days, and be back for my bro's wedding. he'll be mob to russia effectively in july.

so here i am, standing on my own, looking after two kids. no tears are flowing, no point to grief. he'll go anyway. duty's call.

i haven't firmed up my decision yet. hope to see clearer on what transpire next.

so far, the boys are behaving well, except adib who at times, look a lil bit lost. hopefully they'll cooperate and cope well, for they are my pillar of strength too.

i'm trying to portray only the positive things now. has planned with office colleague for an evening of work out to burn the stubborn, excessive fat. :P (sambil hendak mengguna sepenuhnya kasut sukan baru itu. hihi)

ps #1~ dear OH, i know u'll be reading this. adib mengamuk tadi sebab dia nak main dia nyer thomas and james yang i tinggalkan kat umah. dia pegi susun bomba kecik tuh back to back and keep on saying 'ten' (train). bila bomba tuh moved apart, dia marah. he's one creative boy for sure. he also dah recognize one more car - 'go carts'

ps #2~ afiq dah pandai sebut 'hurry up'. guess how he pronounced it? 'YAP' dapat dari cd thomas this evening. btw, i tak sempat duduk lagi, dib² cakap kat i 'go car'. adeh!

walaupun aku takde la nak kata ok sangat ngan dia, aku harap dia tak kena apa², sebab kalau dia kena...... alamatnya kitorang semua kena KUARANTIN jugak!!

:: future ~ hazy ::

i normally look forward for weekend to come.

but not this time.

starting monday, OH will start his 11-days journey to russia (part 1) before he finally settle down in russia in july till march next year. i'm trying to do the reasoning, hence trying to portray ONLY the positive things to keep my spirit up. i'm trying to console myself that i could do lots of things without him, things that i can hardly do when he's around. i'll try to take this opportunity to make way for a better bonding time with my kids. gagagaga. will i survive?

what will transpire next is pretty hazy. haven't got any clues on career prospect that is hindering me from following him immediately. if anything falls in place, as per proposal, insya Allah, i'll be united with him in november the earliest. i hope my boys will cope well with the situation.

anyway, lil' bro will get married in 2 weeks time. perhaps next week, once OH departed to russia, i'll be able to start to help mom to do all the hantaran and door gifts. currently, i'm all tied out to lend a helping hand to mom. sorry mak!

guess, this is the way that Allah thinks is best for me, to make me become a better mother. it's time to get fit as well, as i'll be alone in being on toes running after my active boys.

please pray that i'll be strong readers. please pray that Allah will give nothing but only the best for all of us.

:: new eatery discovered : Michaelangelo's Deli and Restaurant, BBQ Chicken ::

the post on the new eateries discovered, and i believe i'm definitely coming for more!

having a pretty high standard (ecceh!) on pasta, i always find it a tad hard to arrive on one. but yesterday, the 6th wedding anniversary lunch has lead us to one good outlet - Michaelangelo's Deli and Restaurant in Pavillion.

we were pretty much undecided on what to eat, but then the promotion seems to be very inviting. free appetizer, coffee/tea and dessert.. it's just sound extremely good! crossing my fingers, we entered the restaurant and placed our order.

knowing me and OH. we're small eaters. hence ordering one main course and one appetizer is good enough to make us feel full. we had creme di funghi (that comes with the lunch set) and calamari fritti for appetizer. the creme is superb, i can taste the mushroom-ness of the soup and the calamari - TENDER!

for main, we had - spaghetti marinara sizzlelini - spaghetti in tomato gravy with prawns, calamari, mussels. and i think the serving is pretty big, enough for two. (to me yeah, sebab i small eater) extremely nice!

coffee - not bad. i had fresh blended orange juice. (should have asked for no ice instead) we had choc torte with vanilla icecream (part of meal set - er, i believe it's torte, or perhaps brownies. not sure what it is really, the only thing i knew is it tasted good) and pannacotta with strawberry jam. the pannacotta was ok, the only drawback is - the jam is too little. haha.

that was for lunch.

later in the evening, we tagged the boys along for a simple family outing. we were first at the playground but then we decided to bring them to JJ setiawangsa and let them enjoy themselves at the playland. surely after main bebudak nih lapar, so we headed to BBQ chicken in JJ Setiawangsa. i was so obsessed with this restaurant after the first time i tried it with fellow colleagues in OU.

it's definitely a healthier choice for us without compromising the taste. the chickens were fried in EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL and my boys for the FIST TIME EVER can sit down quietly and enjoyed the meal. :D wee!

anyway, the boys had olive crunchy chicken and my OH had jerk BBQ. me? haha. takut gemuk babe. so i just tumpang sekaki here and there.

so, that's a story of a wonderful day out on MONDAY tatkala orang lain tension bekejra. (keji kan menyakitkan hati semua orang)

:: mengantuk sangat nih! ::

been away for a while. berada di pantai timur over the weekend with OH, my boys and ILs. syukur the boys behaved pretty well in the car throughput the journey (except for afiq masa on the way back)

i'm extremely sleepy today. adib didn't sleep well, so did mommy. was supposed to wake up for my post midnight meal (sahur) tapi sedar² dah nak masuk subuh. huwa!! harapnya diberi kekuatan untuk settlekan puasa hari nih, as i still have a big sum to ganti. budget minggu nih nak puasa straight. (tiap² minggu niat cam gituh. sigh)

anyway, was off work yesterday. had a day out with OH to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. thanx for the gifts. nanti will update later on where we go and the newly found eatery outlets yang best. :D

owh, i still haven't update my foodie blog. am supposed to post up my scones and ikan sepat + nenas masak lemak cili api recipe. nanti ada time i update yeah. sangat mengantuk dan rasa mahu lari ke surau untuk tidooooo.... aiyo!
